pixel's the first dog in our family (including me, my sister, and my parents) in over 40 years. we're cat people. we've had sneaky, sheba, mr tibbs and oreo amongst us. and still have maizi, greysie, vegas, cali and beauty. and now there's pixel. a dog. there's a warming up period when they visit. they're not used to the jumping and high energy and sniffing in inappropriate places. but this may turn someone into a dog person. how could it not?

I consider myself a cat person, I'm actually dying to have one. It's been a long while since we've had any pets. My kids have been my pets, lol. I had a dog growing up and I loved her to pieces but now I'm not sure how I would do having a dog now, I'm sure it'll grow on me though. My 5 year old keeps telling us that he wants 2 cats and 2 dogs. I ask him who's going to clean up the poop and he replies saying that he's going to teach them how to go on the potty. Haha, if only!
Aww, Pixel is so cute. How could you not love her? Is that your sister or you?! I am a cat person, but I am sure I can easily fall in love with a dog. Husband is a dog person, but he is in awe of Ruby. Today he told her, "I love you" before we headed out the door, then said he didn't mean to say that. :) Yes he did! I know he did.
I love the fact that she is on top of multiple blankets on the sofa. Looks just like my own 'princess and the pea', Luxy!
janna, that's my sister. yes, we look terribly alike, except for the haircut now. we could "are you twins?" quite a bit when we're together. pam
