am i the only one that counts stairs mentally, silently as they climb them? did i just reveal too much? like the fact that i know there's 16 stairs from our foyer to the first floor. and 8 to the landing and then another 8 to the second floor and that i count them every time i go up.images via pink wallpaper

Haha you count stairs? I don't... maybe that's why I have tripped multiple times thinking the stairs have ended, when in fact they have not.
I count like a fool all the time! I love The Count on Sesame Street, I'm forever counting. What does it mean?
cj, although i labeled this post 'quirk', i probably should have labeled it 'ocd'. i think that's what it means. i'll soon be flipping light switches 52 times. pam
